Common Causes
This status typically means:
Missing or incorrect information in your Stripe profile
Required documents not uploaded
Verification pending for identity or bank account
Typo in submitted information
How to Fix Stripe Account Pending
Go to the side menu
Select My Account
Navigate to Bank Settings
Click Manage Account on Stripe
You'll be automatically logged into your Stripe account
Complete any requested information or upload required documents
Save your changes
Required Information for US Accounts
Personal identification: SSN or ITIN
Business information: Business name and address
Bank account: Valid US bank account details
Contact information: Phone and email
Verification Timeline
Most verifications complete within 24-48 hours
Document reviews may take up to 3-5 business days
You'll receive email confirmation when approved
Important: You cannot receive payments until your Stripe account shows "Complete" status.
