What does "Stripe Account Pending" mean?

The "Stripe Account Pending" status indicates that your payment processing account needs attention before you can receive payments.

Common Causes

This status typically means:

  • Missing or incorrect information in your Stripe profile

  • Required documents not uploaded

  • Verification pending for identity or bank account

  • Typo in submitted information

How to Fix Stripe Account Pending

  1. Go to the side menu

  2. Select My Account

  3. Navigate to Bank Settings

  4. Click Manage Account on Stripe

  5. You'll be automatically logged into your Stripe account

  6. Complete any requested information or upload required documents

  7. Save your changes

Required Information for US Accounts

  • Personal identification: SSN or ITIN

  • Business information: Business name and address

  • Bank account: Valid US bank account details

  • Contact information: Phone and email

Verification Timeline

  • Most verifications complete within 24-48 hours

  • Document reviews may take up to 3-5 business days

  • You'll receive email confirmation when approved

Important: You cannot receive payments until your Stripe account shows "Complete" status.
