Hiring helpers through the Easy Clean App allows you to scale your cleaning business efficiently while maintaining control over payments and schedules.
How to Hire a Helper
Go to the Teams tab and select your team
Click Add Member
Choose from two options:
Friends tab: select from existing connections
Search tab: find new helpers by phone number
If not yet connected, send a friend request first
Once connected, click Hire
Set payment details:
Payment amount
Payment method (hourly, per house, weekly, daily, percentage, or fixed)
Managing Helper Work Hours
The app provides Clock In/Out functionality to track work time:
Clock In: Helper starts work at a client location
Clock Out: Helper finishes work
Sessions under 5 minutes are automatically discarded
If a helper forgets to clock out, the system auto-closes after 24 hours and adjusts to 8 hours
Payment and Payroll
Access the Payroll tab within your team
Generate reports (weekly, monthly, or custom)
Review Clock In/Out records
Process payments with your credit card
Payments take 5-10 seconds to complete
Important Helper Management Rules
Helpers cannot see what clients pay the company
Payment method/amount cannot be changed after hiring (must rehire)
Helpers can leave a team independently via "Leave Team" button
Members can only be removed after all pending payments are settled
